This is an exceptionally high good quality machine. It is solid as a rock and operates as smooth as butter. It is also rather quick to assemble. It is quiet and compact. You do not need to have to buy a separate floor mat as 1 is supplied. The only thing I do not care for is it takes only about 20 lbs. of plate weights due to the tiny size of the weight plate shaft, plus, plates that are any heavier (hence greater diameter) will impede the sideways movement of the seat. To add extra weights, I got a standard-to-olympic add-on shaft that goes more than the current shaft. With this I can place on extra (olymmpic-hole) weights. So far the machine's shaft is holding up fine beneath the strain of the additional weight. It can now accept twenty-lb. olympic weights, but only two on every side so as not to get in the way of the seat. I have put on 4 on each side, which is fine, but with these the seat will not turn sideways.
I am really pleased with this machine, it is highly-priced but effective. Also you will not hurt your back as with sit-ups. Simple and easy to assemble and great searching.
